City of London

Two new office buildings for Trafalgar Developments Ltd on the edge of the City of London conservation area. The designs needed to reflect the scale and character of the conservation area and have a richness of texture and modelling not normally associated with speculative office buildings. The facade of 85 London Wall consists of deeply recessed mullioned window panels in conjunction with semi-projecting bays designed to solve the problems of turning the corner at the prominent acute angle of the site.
